It can be fully understand if there are people who became fury or mad because they cannot use their vote rights in the upcoming 8th of July for Indonesia’s presidential election because their name are not listed on the voters list.

It is the word of Didik Supriyanto, Chairman of Election for Democracy Organization at the Press Conference, Saturday (4/7).

“It must be admitted that there are voters list problems which violated the constitution rights,” Said Didik.

According to Didik, in the process of the upcoming 2009 presidential election, the General Election Commission must calm the society who names were not listed on the voters list. He don’t want any kind of riots occur because of the commission faults, who already promised will accommodated voters who were not registered in the legislative election not so long ago.

Vice Chairman of National Human Rights Commission Ridha Saleh, Saturday (4/7), claimed that he also disappoint with the General Election Commission, who until now not settling the voters list problem.

Meanwhile, The National Campaign Team from the Presidential Candidate M.Jusuf Kalla-Wiranto who accompanied by Megawati Sokarno Putri-Prabowo Subianto National Campaign Team, claimed that are almost 11, 22 Million voters who were double registered. The data was sent to the General Election Commission at the Commission office, Jakarta, last Saturday (4/7).

Voters who were double registered divided into four category, they have same identification number, same identification number and voter name; same identification number, name, and place/date of birth; same identification number, name, place/date of birth, and address.

Even more, there are a voter in Bantul, Yogjakarta, who have identification number, name, place/date of birth, and same address being registered for 34 times on the voters list. He was registered in different vote place, different vote number, in each of the different vote place.

It’s Funny isn’t it?

After the General Election Commission promises to do its job properly, but still not full functioning. Whose faults is it then? They who worked as General Election Commission? Or those who hired and put an uncapable worker in the Executive member of General Election Commission?
